Travis Lytle

Managing Partner

Travis Lytle is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Honu Capital Partners, a long/short equity hedge fund dedicated to delivering superior returns through rigorous fundamental analysis and disciplined portfolio management. With over three decades of investment experience, Travis combines sharp analytical prowess with a deep understanding of business dynamics to identify high-quality, growth-oriented opportunities.

Before founding Honu, Travis built and scaled a highly successful outpatient physical therapy practice in Avon, Connecticut. As a clinician and entrepreneur, he earned widespread recognition for his exceptional patient care and innovative leadership, growing the practice into a regional leader before successfully exiting his ownership stake. This unique blend of operational expertise and strategic vision guides his approach to investment management, enabling him to uncover non-consensus opportunities with strong compounding potential.

Travis holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Gettysburg College. His passion for markets, commitment to excellence, and disciplined investment philosophy drive Honu Capital Partners’ mission to create lasting value for its investors.

Dan Joseph

Founding Partner

Dan Joseph is a Co-Founder and Principal of Honu Capital Partners, a long/short equity hedge fund. With a robust background as an entrepreneur and investor, Dan brings a wealth of experience in capital allocation, deal structuring, and strategic growth to the firm.

In addition to Honu, Dan is the Co-Founder of Corridor Ventures and Apparent Capital, two entrepreneurial real estate ventures where he oversees capital allocation, financing, strategy, and expansion. Renowned for his expertise in negotiating and closing complex transactions, Dan has a proven track record of raising capital and driving value creation across diverse industries.

Dan holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from Tufts University. He is an active member of the Connecticut chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). He serves on the boards of Osterman Company, Capitol Squash, and the Holocaust and Human Rights Education Center, reflecting his commitment to leadership and community impact.
